Great doctor. Very comforting and informative. I always feel like he knows and understands his field well. He has been taking care of me with our first twin pregnancy and I could not have a better experience. He listens to the patients needs and makes sure to address any issues. Would definitely recommend

I came to Dr. Wade at 32 weeks pregnant because my original OB left the medical group she was in and I wound up being bounced around from doctor to doctor. This would be irritating to a normal pregnant woman but was worse for me as I have a pre-existing medical condition which made me high risk. That said at 32 weeks my original OB had no plan in place for my delivery date and all doctors had conflicting ideas as to how I should give birth.

After much research, I decided to contact Sharp Parinatology to ask if a specialist would see me so late. Dr. Schwendemann agreed to see me that week and later agreed to take me on as a patient. On my first visit Dr. Wade had done much research and was even privy to my medical history. He immediately came up with a plan for my delivery as well as put together additional back up plans to make sure everything was covered. In addition, in case I were to go into labor while he was not on call, he reached out to another specialist I was familiar with to be sure I felt confident.

Dr. Schwendemann was amazing, he really did everything he could to ensure my safety as well as my baby’s safety. He was very thorough, detailed, compassionate, and extremely knowledgable. I felt very lucky to have him as my provider and would recommend him to anyone with a high risk pregnancy.

Made my pregnancy so much easier. He made sure me and my baby were healthy. I am so glad that he delivered my baby. It was fast and easy. I wish I got the chance to say thank you to him before I left the hospital. I already know I want him to deliver all my other babies. Best high risk doctor. I highly recommend him.

What a wonderful and caring Dr. He is the best!!! He delivered our baby boy. Took his time and definitely showed he cared. Stayed until i was ready to push even though it was time for him to go home. Best care I ever received. Loving, kind and best OBGYN EVER!!!!! I will never ever in my life forget what he has done for me and my family. God bless you Wade!!!

    Amazing Doctors!
My first meeting Wade and his team was in 2010 with triplets. After being told by the military hospital “my pregnancy would be followed like any other” a friend told me to switch to Standard coverage and see Wade at San Diego Perinatal.
Long story short not only did I carry them to 23wks 3 days, spending 3 weeks under the care of his team in the hospital to avoid the enivedavle, they allowed me and my other 2 children to meet say hello and good bye, even hold their brothers and sister.
My story was not a happy ending but for my family Wades team kept them from coming on more than one occasion, but when they did arrive all over 1 pound, I had a choice to put them in the nicu with low success for survival at 23wks, I was never pushed one way or the other on what we wanted for them. Dont get me wrong the Dr were realistic in my pregnancy possibilities of preterm but I didnt want to think about that.
In 2013 I was pregnant with twins, we were terrified! History did try to repeat itself with the twins and i almost lost them too. I stayed on bed rest for 75 days in the hospital.

My babies live on in the hearts of those they touched. My twins are my remind of what was lost as well as what we were blessed to have.
I have no affiliation to San Diego Perinatal just a military wife and mom who was greatful to have been under their care. If I had to do it all over again I wouldnt trust anyone else!
