I would highly NOT recommend usage of Truly Nolen for termite control. We have had them for years in San Diego and have been dissatisfied with their service. We had termite issue that plagued us for years and have had issues for years. They convinced us that spot treatment would be the best way to solve our drywood termite problem. We had a full wall exposed for around a week and tried to get them to come out to help treat the area. They were unable to get a technician out to see the open wall and we had to proceed with construction. It was a let down.
We then had live termites in our house that created an urgent situation. We were able to schedule a visit 2 weeks after this started. We then had them out to inspect the house to do a spot treatment and inspect for a possible tenting. They inspected for tenting and said they needed to have their tenting installer come out to see some items with our house. This was scheduled for 8/28/24. The appointment came and went without anyone showing up or calling to reschedule. I called a day later and they didn’t have a reason for why the person didn’t show up. I asked if they were going to reschedule and the operator (from an out of the country call center) said that they would send an email to a local person and they would get back to us. They never did so I called the main number once again. They scheduled a spot treatment again for 9/11/24. This day came and went without anyone showing up. No one called so I called them again. The operator said that someone called in sick and the area manager could come to our house a week later. I asked if he was going to do a spot treatment and the operator said no, he would only be doing an inspection.
Needless to say, we are done with them for termite treatment and would recommend others go with a smaller local company if you want to have any type of client support. The local number that Truly Nolen has on their website does not go to the office, it is routed to a call center. The call could go through to somewhere in the US or overseas. The in country call center people are nice and helpful but the local support is lacking.
As for their pest control service, we have had them for years and didn’t have any issues. We want to keep our pest and termite plans together with one company so we are going elsewhere for this too.
Yes indeed I am pleased, especially with Dena who was here for our annual inspection. She was so thorough and informative, plus she has a great personality. I have liked all the TN staff.
Josh was very thorough and helpful in all of my concerns! He wasn’t trying to take my money and that means a lot! He was professional and amazing at his job. Give this man a raise!
The worst customer service ever! I am a regular customer but had to wait several months to get an appointment. Then they didn’t show up and didn’t call me to reschedule. I called them to find out the status and they gaslighted me and told me my appointment was for a different (future) date and time. I thought this very unresponsive and unprofessional and asked that a manager call me back. Nobody called back, so I emailed the manager directly, requesting a call or response. No response to my email. This is not the only service problem we have had. There have been significant billing issues over the past year. All sorted out now, but took MANY phone calls to get corrected. The technicians are all very skilled and friendly, bit dealing with anybody in the office is impossible.
