There are 3 of these stores in the same shopping center. This is 8151 and has shopping carts outside. Lots of fresh sashimi, packaged fish and fresh produce here but I was here to eat Poke. One table to eat your poke outside if you can’t wait to eat! The Poke bar is in the far back right. You have a menu to choose all your items fresh hand the put it together for you and call your name. I had the octopus, tuna and salmon and all were fresh. Get fresh avocado toppings or spicy tuna it’s all great and price less than many poke restaurants. I’ll be back!
The market was super well decorated and the prices for produce were definitely on the more affordable side compared to other Japanese supermarkets. There are 2 separate buildings but both are still referred to as Tokyo Central and both carry supermarket items (one has more produce and the other more so snacks)!
Love shopping here for Japanese specific food and food stuff. The “home” store has fun Japanese anime and stuffed animal items along with cookware and cool dishes from Japan. The other 2 stores have Japanese food selections and specialty items from various parts of Japan when in season or during certain celebrations. Awesome place to explore 3 Japanese stores for creating authentic Japanese meals and adding some Japanese decor to your home and table. Have fun exploring!
First time coming to this grocery store!
It’s quite interesting setting that there are two marukai store side by side!
I see that one on right side (facing store) is the grocery and fresh products while one on the left hand side is more like snacks and skin care etc
I like the store setting! Pretty cool 😎 and I enjoyed shopping! 🙂
Keep up the good work!
Cheers 🥂
They have a nice selection of Japanese products and produce. There are three buildings, each with a different specialty- one with fresh produce, one with more dry goods, and the third has products ranging from anime paraphernalia to health and cosmetics to kitchen appliances.
They also have very good poke bowls and daily lunch items you can take out.
