Had the Hot Mamacita. It was good, not $16 good. The second picture was the part of the sandwich with no meat… Bun too big? The sandwich was huge, but in bread only. Great service. The area is a little suspect after dark.
I am VERY impressed. The one thing missing from North Park was a good and fast deli/sammich shop.
Well.. THIS is it. The sandwiches are fresh, made to order and the girls are all so very polite and friendly.
I remember when this convenient store was small and just had the basics. I’m so proud of its growth and happy to contribute to a positive edition to the area that values its customers, and watch it grow.
Congratulations!
P.S. I’ll be visiting often, please add horseradish to your condiments. 😊
The Girls Deli is an absolute hidden gem! Tucked away in the back of a convenience store, you’d never expect such incredible sandwiches to come from this unassuming spot. If you’re a fan of Boar’s Head, these sandwiches are sure to hit the mark. I absolutely loved the Hot Mamacita—perfectly balanced flavors with just the right amount of kick. We opted for takeout and enjoyed our lunch with some beer flights down the block at Belching Beaver. A must-try if you’re in the area and craving a seriously delicious sandwich!
I went here for the first time to give one of their sandwiches a try since I heard they have some pretty good sandwiches I wanted to find out for myself. I got the Mob Sandwich. It was fixed to perfection. Not sloppy made. The girl had good customer service and was helpful. The sandwich was delicious. I would recommend anybody that wants a good sandwich to give this place a try.
I got my order to go so this only applies to the food. We had the club on sourdough and the New Yorker on Italian. We also tried the Mac and cheese (overcooked noodles, bland sauce, and super gritty). These are overpriced for legitimate deli meat and cheese you’d buy for $5.99 a pack off the shelf. The bread is so dry and 100% store bought. Neither sandwich in general had enough flavor or sauce and we had to add ingredients from our fridge at home to choke it down. I gave it a 2 star because it’s about the same as a sandwich I would make at home with cheap ingredients and store bought bread. Do not eat here especially at these prices.
TLDR: Buy ingredients from Ralph’s and make it at home to save $10+ and actually add enough ingredients and sauce to eat it.
**Edit since they responded.
Respectfully, I buy sandwiches from places like Rubicon weekly for around the same as I paid from your deli. I never complain because it’s loaded with flavor, delicious bread, and it’s well worth the VALUE.
Trying to throw shade at a customer saying “sorry you cannot afford our food” when the content of the review was respectful criticism is crazy work. I’ll ensure people don’t eat here. Thanks!
