Second time visit was disappointing. Fish pieces in the two sushi rolls were good, but the rice had harder grains in it that felt like it’s either uncooked or a mix of newly cooked and old leftover that was hardened in the fridge.
Service was good, prices reasonable, dishes came out not super fast but not bad.
This was one of those really good holein the wall restaurants. The service was good, we got sat fast and the server was on top of his game. We got several rolls and a salmon uni bowl. All the food tasted fresh and well prepared. Really good choice if your in the neighborhood
Little hole in the wall but food is yummy! Yakitori portions are tiny, but yummy. Ramen was meh, got the spicy chicken. The crispy tuna was amazing! Good lunch spot, but small space!
I’m absolutely blown away by Sushi Yorimichi in Linda Vista! This hidden gem serves exceptional sushi, unparalleled service, and warm hospitality. Be prepared for a wait, as this spot is popular, but trust me, it’s well worth it.
The sushi chefs’ expertise shines through in every piece, with incredibly fresh fish, precise technique, and creative combinations. Standouts include the spicy tuna roll, rainbow roll, and omakase. Each bite is a masterclass in flavor and texture.
The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. They happily guide you through the menu, offering pairing suggestions and insider tips. Their dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience is evident.
Ambiance is intimate and serene, perfect for dates or special occasions. The wait may be long, often upwards of 30-45 minutes, but the quality of food and service makes it worthwhile. Plan ahead, arrive early.
I absolutely loved this place, we tried the curry udon soup and some sushi rolls, my partner and I were not expecting how good this place was going to be, including the fair pricing of the items. We felt our visit here was worth the drive, and we will definitely be back. This place has become one of my gems in San Diego, RECOMMEND!!!
