DO NOT HIRE STABLE TEMP HVAC – INCOMPETENCE & NEGLIGENCE
Stable Temp HVAC installed an HVAC unit that is completely incompatible with my home’s ductwork. Three separate reputable companies have confirmed this as gross negligence. A static pressure test proved the unit cannot function properly, and modification is not feasible—leaving me no choice but to fully remove and replace the system at my own expense.
This isn’t just an isolated case. They:
• Installed a 2-ton unit on 10” ducts, which is blatantly incorrect. A 2-ton unit requires ~800 CFM, but 10” ducts only provide ~400 CFM. This basic fact is easily verifiable, and there is no valid response or excuse for this mistake.
• Forced an incorrectly sized filter by bending the frame.
• Left improper wiring and installed weather stripping in the wrong place—clear signs of incompetence.
• Failed to address my concerns about a burning smell, which turned out to be the system damaging itself due to restricted airflow.
• Short-cycling caused excess moisture buildup, leading to air quality concerns inside my home.
Their mistakes have left me without heat in the middle of winter and stuck paying for their failures. When I requested a refund for their defective installation, they refused to take responsibility.
I have since found similar complaints on the Better Business Bureau about them installing improperly sized HVAC systems—this is a consistent pattern of incompetence.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. They are unqualified, negligent, and unwilling to stand behind their work. Hiring them will cost you thousands in repairs. Learn from my mistake and go elsewhere.
Professional, efficient, and friendly. The team accommodated my schedule to help restore heat during cold temps, laid out protective rugs, cleaned up thoroughly and tested everything before leaving. I would definitely recommend!
