I cannot recommend the San Diego LASIK Institute enough! Dr. Irina Darrow is absolutely incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her patients. During my consultation, she discovered an existing issue that I had thought was completely normal for my age. It turns out I have a cortical cataract, which is something that should be covered by my health insurance. Not only did she inform me of this, but they also refunded every penny I paid for the consultation and didn’t charge me a dime.
The professionalism, care, and honesty here are unmatched. It’s clear why they have so many amazing reviews. If you’re in San Diego and considering LASIK or need an eye consultation, this is the place to go. Thank you, Dr. Darrow and the team—you’ve earned a lifelong fan!
San Diego LASIK institute is definitely the place I recommend. The staff and doctors are very knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable. I had LASIK almost 4 months ago and my vision is still getting even better. The day after surgery I woke up with 20/20 and the next couple follow ups I was at 20/15 minus 2. Dr. Pham also checked up on me the same day after surgery which very few doctors do and this showed that he genuinely cares about his patients. San Diego LASIK institute has all my support and will recommend to anyone.

From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The environment was spotless and comfortable, complete with unlimited snacks, and the staff was incredibly friendly. After a couple of years meeting with several doctors, I finally found San Diego Lasik Institute and I couldn’t be happier. Everyone in the office made me feel super comfortable, they really think of everything to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. On the day of surgery Dr. Pham did an excellent job explaining everything that was happening and before I knew it the procedure was over. Now, a couple of months later, my vision is better than ever and I’ve had no issues with dryness, pain, or blurriness. Would highly recommend!!
Such an incredible experience! I had my surgery yesterday and I woke up with beautiful 20/20 vision! Everyone at this clinic is so friendly and helpful. All my questions were answered before, during, and after surgery. Definitely worth it! I also love the space the practice is in, feels more like a spa than a clinic! Highly recommend!
