Sam’s Locksmith was excellent! He responded immediately and came out to address our issue same day. He was courteous, communicative, and efficient, and within 15 minutes of arriving he was able to open a lock box for us. I would highly recommend this company and will use them for any additional needs in the future!
I was on my way to pick up lunch when I noticed people standing outside this kiosk. I thought great let me see if this man could get me a key fob that would work with my base model vehicle. There were a few people standing in line so he told me to wait for 20 minutes. I was waiting outside and talking to his customers and they assured me he did good work. Once he finished up with three small groups of customers he asked what I needed. I told him I wanted a key fob that could work with my electric locks since I was told only standard keys worked with my base model vehicle. Also, I told him I went to other locksmiths that told me getting a key fob for my car was impossible. Sam guaranteed me he could get me a key fob and it wouldn’t take much time for him to fix it. He asked for my car keys and began plugging iPad readers into my car to read codes and see if he could fix it. After about 30 minutes I realized he was taking way longer than he did with the other customers. So I asked him if there was a problem and he said give him time. After about an hour I realized something was wrong. He came to me and told me he couldn’t fix it and demanded I pay him. I told him I wouldn’t pay him when all he did was look at the car. He became irate and started cursing at me and yelling obscenities in the parking lot. I took my keys and tried to leave. When I put my keys into my car the doors wouldn’t unlock. Sam did something to lock me out of my car. I told him to open my doors and fix my car immediately. He couldn’t open the door with the key so he broke into the window with an inflatable wedge. My car doors were uneven and wouldn’t close properly after that.Then I tried to turn my car on and it wouldn’t start. He plugged his iPads into my car and started the car. After all that I told him he was unethical and tries to prey on women of color. Do you know this man was still cursing at me as I was trying to leave out of there with a swiftness. I’m still flabbergasted how he started out trying to be nice but ended up being a scammer businessman. If I could give 0 stars I would.Now I have to get my car fixed by professionals because every time I turn my car on it lags and sometimes won’t start. Avoid going to this man at all costs he is very sneaky.
I definitely recommend this business. Saw me on short ,I had a lockbox in a work truck and he had to use some muscle to open it. However he got it open without ruining the lockbox. He quoted me at $175 However only charged $30.
He said because it was 10 minutes of work but I couldn’t believe he decreased the quote down that much.
Then he and I talked about life and how we both ended up in California/ SD County.
What a nice guy he is.
Sam is the man. Super knowledgeable, super helpful. Went above and beyond what was asked of him. Good work, quick, good price.

I had such a great experience with this locksmith! He was incredibly nice, fair with his pricing, and extremely professional in his work. He reprogrammed two chip key fobs for me(toyota camry) and even changed the frame on one of them. The process was quick and seamless, and his attention to detail was impressive. I’m so thankful for his help and highly recommend his services to anyone in need of a skilled locksmith!and also he gave me a $35 discount, which was awesome!
