Great bar and chill atmosphere where you can rock out with your homies. My cheeseburger was cooked to perfection. Juicy meat, crisp buttered burger and fresh vegetables with a side of fries to share.
I had heard this was the best burger in San Diego…and after finally trying it out, I completely agree. Delicious burger and french fries.
And it must be the best burger, because Rocky’s doesn’t make it easy. Parking is limited, kids aren’t allowed, seats are limited, and it’s a cash-only establishment.
With all that said, we’ll DEFINITELY be back. It’s worth it!
Rocky’s is a local gem that has been serving the community for decades. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the rich history and warmth that comes from years of dedication and passion for great food. Their burgers are simply the best – made from fresh, never frozen meat, each bite bursts with flavor and quality. The care and love that go into every meal are evident, making Rocky’s not just a restaurant, but a beloved institution. If you haven’t experienced their legendary burgers yet, you’re truly missing out.
Hole-in-the-wall bar with some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Flew from NC to SD, and family wanted to bring us here. Well worth the trip. This place is jamming at peak times, so get ready to wait (and build up an appetite). Mike was our server, and he was hilarious and made for a great time.
Customer service wasn’t there, neither was the friendliness. Food was ok, pretty generic. Spot is small but it was pretty busy, they do have a lunch special which is pretty cool.
