The service here is truly beyond amazing. Every member of the team goes above and beyond to ensure that patients feel comfortable and well taken care of. I walked into this place dying in pain from a long-time needed service. I happened to be checked into the urgent care next door. Instantly Dr Lockwood fixed me up. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the extra effort to provide top-notch care. From start to finish, the level of professionalism combined with their warm approach made my visit outstanding. Highly recommend to anyone looking for not just a dental appointment, but a genuinely great experience!
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Lockwood since 2015. I am a senior with multiple dental issues, unfortunately. The care and compassion over these 10 years has been exceptional. I am moving back to Carmel (Monterey) in the near future but will definitely return to Rio Vista Family Dentistry if I return to San Diego. Lest I forget to mention, all of the support staff are excellent as well. Sorry I don’t known her title, but Mona, who does the scheduling and billing…is the best! Thanks to all of the doctors and staff for the years of excellent care!
I am a first time patient here. The staff and Dr. Reyes are fabulous. From check in-Melissa was very friendly and courteous, to getting X-rays-the assistants didn’t give me their names and finally the exam w/ Dr. Reyes, everything went very well. I did have the first appointment of the morning at 7am so I was called back immediately so I can’t speak for the wait times later in the day. Dr Reyes provided thorough answers to all my questions and didn’t “oversell” procedures that had been pushed on me by previous dental clinics and she reassured me of my situations. Only thing that was a small negative was the next appointment to get a cleaning is a couple months out but that is also a good thing because that means they have a lot of patients that want to be there, so I don’t mind waiting and they put me on a cancellation list. I am very happy with my initial exam and will be back.
The team at Rio Vista Family Dentistry is always wonderful to work with. This morning, when I had a problem with the front desk, staff was super supportive and helpful and I appreciated that! Dr. Reyes and Dr. Lockwood are the best dentists I’ve ever had!
