Food was good but a little pricy. Have some unique tacos with good flavor. Come early on taco Tuesday for the best drink specials and half off tacos.
Overall didn’t like it and wouldn’t go back or recommend to friends, it was a $300 spent for a less than ok food. Also the google pictures are old they don’t have anything that shows in the pics here.
We ordered Shrimp plancha, shrimp tamarindo taco, crab & shrimp flautas, filet mignon taco, short rib enchiladas, chips and guacamole, margaritas and three leches cake.
Shrimp plancha $40 plate for 9 pieces of shrimp. The taste was all right ( not something I would go back for)
Shrimp taco was all right ($11, worth to try)
Crab and shrimp flauta you can barely taste the crab and shrimp in there (I wouldn’t recommend it at all $30)
Short rib enchiladas were pretty good, it’s a very strong taste and super spicy (I recommend)
Filet mignon tacos, super salty and didn’t taste like filet mignon, tasted like rib eye
Guac and chips were pretty good
Margaritas were all right ($20)
Três peches cake was delicious!!! I would totally recommend it. ($9)

Think of the movie “When Harry met Sally”——the restaurant scene. Yes yes yes!! That is how good the food is here!
Let’s quickly grade the staff- +5 star. They are very kind and courteous and have a great deal of knowledge about what goes into each dish. If you want a fun afternoon/evening trying great food start with the following.
Starters:
Yellowfin tuna crudo
Potato taquitos
chips with fresh salsa.
Main course we ordered the following tacos – and all are 5 star.
Lobster, filet mignon, chicken Al pastor, short rib quesabirria, ribeye.
Visited Puesto to celebrate a birthday and enjoyed our experience! I had the Verduras Taco & Short Rib Quesabirria Taco. We also tried the chef’s salsa bar with tortilla chips. Everything was delicious! Shout out to Johnny for the awesome service.
My mother and I were looking for a place to enjoy some Mexican food. We found Puesto Mexican Restaurant in Mission Valley, and it was a great choice. It was Taco Tuesday and happy hour. We sat at a table on the patio, enjoying the blue corn tortilla tacos and margaritas, which were reasonably priced. We ordered the Rib-Eye Tacos. The must-try dessert is the Mango Cake, which is shaped like a mango and is delicious. Taco Tuesday pricing begins at 3 pm, and Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 3-5 pm. The servers were friendly and helpful explaining the menu.
