Kevin inspected the pool that I bought and was incredibly helpful on explaining how everything works, realistically how long various parts would last, and working with the seller’s agent to explain things. It was ~$300 for an inspection and was well worth it as we got about $1,500 in seller credits. I also chatted with other pool inspectors in the area and Kevin’s price was much more reasonable and he was way more direct on explaining things and getting the inspection done quickly.
After we bought the house, I was looking to maintain it on my own and Kevin graciously spent a couple hours on the phone explaining the chemicals and basic pool chemistry.
I cannot recommend Kevin and Pro Touch Pools enough! Professional, no BS, and overall a great guy!
Edit: Kevin called back and apologized. He assured me that he is not the type of person who disregards others and then he proved it. He patiently walked me through multiple options i could do on my own to save on cost for my pool. He was detailed and knowledgeable with DIY pool maintenance and fixes. I really appreciate his efforts and if all new equipment is needed I will likely go through Kevin and his network. I changed my original rating to reflect my current feelings. It says a lot about him as a business operator and as a person that he called me to apologize for my perceived disrespect and then with no malice in his heart helped me with my problem. Thank you Kevin.
“Spoke with Kevin. Very rude and condescending. He rushed me and was pushy when i was attempting to explain my issue. Scolded me for not asking him his name which was weird. I hung up. He called back and I told him he was being rude. There is 0 need to rush someone while they are trying to explain the circumstances of the repair. Whether you think it’s relevant or not your customers do!!!”
I had Kevin inspect the pool of a house I am buying. He was extremely thorough and informative. He explained what he was inspecting and why, any issues he found, and how I could handle them myself. He did not try to up-sell me, and was completely willing to explain tricks-of-the-trade to me for my own benefit for free. He did all of this for a super competitive price, much better than competitors, and even better than I was expecting. I would highly recommend him and will definitely go back to ProTouch for any future pool issues that arise.
We hired Pro Touch Pool Services for our Airbnb, expecting dependable service. Unfortunately, they missed a scheduled service without notifying us, which led to unhealthy spa conditions. This required an emergency water dump, which we had to pay for, and caused a terrible experience for our guest. Their lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. We would not recommend them to others.
FANTASTIC! I called Kevin about a suspected problem with my pump. Instead of selling me a pump that I didn’t need, he walked me through on the phone to diagnose the problem, which was a small air leak in the filter basked area. He spent a fair amount of time with me on the phone, FOR FREE, and I could tell that he is SUPER knowledgeable in the pool biz. SUPER HONEST and over-the-top helpful. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
