We had an excellent experience with Procoat Painting! Mike and Shane were fantastic—attentive to our questions and ideas, and always ready with helpful suggestions when needed. They worked efficiently, finishing the job on time and within budget. Since we needed everything completed before scheduled photos, their reliability was absolutely crucial.
Ace did a great job during the initial walkthrough, thoroughly explaining the scope of work and breaking down the details of the quote. We also had some carpentry work done on our deck, and Procoat was able to coordinate a skilled carpenter at a very reasonable price, seamlessly incorporating it into the project timeline.
The whole team was very professional throughout the entire experience. They treated our property with the utmost respect. Highly recommend!

The quality of the work was wonderful. They were so respectful of our home and pets. They came in and got to work immediately. Everyone was so friendly and professional. The price was fair the paint they used was top of the line Sherwin Williams. We had interior paint done and the garage door painted also. We are so happy! We will definitely use them again for any projects in the future.
Procoat Painting did an amazing job painting the interior of my home! My house was built in 1956 and we purchased it in 1994. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house and the last time it was painted inside was in 1994. . . so over 30 years of living involving kids, pets, elderly. . .lots of scuffs, smudges, peeling to say the least! Mike and his team, Chris, David and Nelson, did not shy away from this challenge! All the doors and frames were sanded, holes filled, hardware removed . ..special care and attention to every detail. Mike even recommended someone to remove my one room with a popcorn ceiling. Everything looks so fresh and clean. . .it’s like a new home! The project took a little less than a week with 2 coats and everyone worked so diligently and cleaned up everyday. They made sure I always had a bed to sleep in each night. I love my new colors over the drab Navajo White that I endured over the years! I should also add that Procoat did the exterior of my home a few years back and that too was seamless. I would recommend Procoat for all your painting needs. . .they really are true professionals!
My husband and I had been wanting to paint the exterior of our home in Chula Vista for awhile and Mike with Procoat Painting was recommended to us by another contractor we do business with. During our initial meeting with Mike he was very thorough in explaining what we could expect and also took the time to listen to what we had in mind for our home and what we envisioned. I could tell he was passionate about his and his team’s ability to carry out exactly what we were looking for. After the initial meeting with Mike we knew we were going to use his company due to his knowledge, professionalism and overall good attitude. I’d also like to note that I didn’t feel like he was pushy and just trying to sell me something. Scheduling with Procoat was pretty straightforward and we scheduled the painting of our home within a week of our initial meeting. Mike let us know that Ty and his crew of painters would take great care of us and that we would love the finished product.
Quality: The painting of our home took a total of 4 days and the breakdown went as follows:
Day 1 – The complete exterior of our home was pressure washed and all windows were inspected to ensure there was no cracking around the window trim. If there was it was sealed with caulking. They also scraped loose paint chips off or our trellis and completed minor wood repairs.
Day 2 – The team carefully masked all doors, windows and garage doors with masking paper/plastic and tape to ensure paint overspray did not occur. Their attention to detail and respect for us was displayed by their kind and detailed efforts in also completely covering our pop-up travel trailer as well as our SUV with plastic that was in our driveway. The last item on day 2 consisted of a coat of primer being applied to the complete exterior so that it would be ready for two coats of paint the following day.
Day 3 – Two coats of paint were applied to the main body of the home (primary color) and to the trim (secondary color). It was nice to see the gradual transformation.
Day 4 – The team finished up the trim color as well as the side doors and garage doors. The painting of our trellis was also completed on this day.
Overall experience and value – My husband and I are absolutely satisfied with the expertise, craftsmanship, professionalism and attention to detail that Mike as well as Ty and his crew exemplified. It really is in their company name so if you go with Procoat Painting of San Diego you will definitely get PROfessionals. Honestly, our home went from old and outdated to fresh and modern. My husband Tony and I absolutely recommend Procoat Painting of San Diego to anyone looking to freshen up their exterior or interior paint. They’re so good that we are thinking of having them back to paint our kitchen cabinets.

Ace, Ty And Procoat crew went above and beyond in getting my house completed on time with no complications.
I wanted to use a special Sherman Williams paint, Ace was upfront right from the start and provided me with the specification sheet so I would know how the product was being applied and that it was being applied correctly.
Ty And his crew showed up every day on time and were meticulous with the detail and cleanup.
I will definitely be using them on my other Rental Property.
