We could not more highly recommend SD Precision Home Design. We worked with Adam on three bathroom remodels and a full kitchen remodel. From inception to completion, Adam and his team of artisans helped us fulfill our unique vision. We felt very safe, despite the pandemic, working from home, through all the construction . The personnel were professional, timely, on budget, clean and the work was impeccable. We very much appreciated the advice of Adam and the flexibility he offered us throughout the process. Every step of the way, we were notified, consulted and our expectations were prepared and met. We invited our previous contractor to see the work and he was very complimentary of the quality of workmanship and execution. Precision did a full kitchen remodel for me. Drew listened carefully to every detail we were interested in, offered good suggestions and helped us through the design. What I really respected was when he didn’t know an answer he admitted that, and asked for time to get in contact with one of the experts on his team, instead of just telling me whatever I wanted to hear to make a sale. Those experts came back quickly and answered my questions/concerns. I never had to wait long and I always got a well thought out answer from the people who knew what they were doing.

During the process Drew, the project manager, showed up EVERY DAY that his employees were here to check on the progress & ensure quality. He’d check in with me regularly to make sure I was happy with how things were going. I have had other contractors in the past and not a single one of them put in the kind of work this team did to make sure everything was smooth and done the way I wanted it.

He set up a regular stream of conversation and answered questions/concerns very promptly.

His craftsmen were all excellent and very respectful of us and our home. Again, I’ve had contractors in the past that clearly did not care. Every single person that came through our house was careful, picked up after themselves, and most importantly of all, did excellent work.

I cannot recommend Precision enough. You hear “We want to make our customers happy” from everybody… but these guys really mean it.

A quick piece of advice on choosing a home renovation contractor: I have learned that there are 2 kinds of contractors out there: Ones that sell materials and will then install them for you, and ones who specialize in organizing the labor. In the past we hired contractors who came to our home and showed us a catalog of the products they carried. We would be wow’ed by the good looking pergolas / pavers / cabinets in these catalogs and proceed in picking out what we were excited to have in our home. The problem is that these guys would then turn around and hire day laborers to install the pieces, which always resulted in poorly installed shoddy work and a shocking lack of respect for our home.

Precision is the other kind: They will point you to some stores that sell the kinds of things you are interested in, or introduce you to their craftsmen who build the things you want, and leave it to you to pick out what you want them to install. They will help and guide you, but you aren’t buying the materials from them so they aren’t invested in selling you a product. They sell you the labor, which means that they have put work in making sure the people who work for them are the best. That the people installing these beautiful cabinets are people who care about making sure it is put in right.

I’ve been burned so many times by previous contractors, the high quality work from these guys has absolutely blown me away. I cannot thank them enough.

We hired Precision Home Design & Remodeling for a full home renovation & a room addition. Simon guided us throughout the entire process which included detailed blueprints and architectural/engineered plans, which made everything run smoothly. We had done other projects in our previous home with a different contractor which wasn’t as smooth as we would have liked, luckily we came across Simon from Precision Home Design & Remodeling.
