We went to Old Fashioned Lumber to look for reclaimed lumber for our fireplace mantel. Zakhar showed us a few pieces that we didn’t think would work. Then he mentioned a piece of oak slab that he had on his work bench. Wow, what a nice piece! A couple weeks later, we took home this beautiful Coastal Live Oak mantel. Great work, Zakhar! So many great things to say about my experience with Old Fashioned Lumber. I am an interior designer and have taken two different clients to them for custom work and had a great experience. From consulting with them on the design of dining tables and coffee tables, to the delivery and finished product. Both of my clients are extremely happy with their custom pieces. Old Fashioned Lumber is the place to go if you want a perfect custom piece. Don and his team are absolute pros. They took an antique sign I had and set it in epoxy and added legs to create a one of kind stand up bar table. Exceeded my expectations and I’m super happy with the piece!
