We were visiting San Diego again and stopped by Nolita Hall for a drink at the bar before our dinner reservations later. Beautiful place. We ended up chatting with Blake (bartender) and because of our experience, we decided to stay there for dinner and also visited again that same week. Nolita is so fortunate to have a person like Blake who makes people feel so welcome and knows ‘his stuff.’ He gave us fantastic recommendations and even a hug at the end of our visit (we now consider him another son). We will be back time and time again. Thank you.
Fantastic. Everything was amazing. The food was outstanding. These days, a lot of places are afraid to season their food but not here. Nothing lacked flavor. They had amazing cocktails, a varied wine list, and craft beer.
Ryan Buck was our bartender. He was friendly and attentive, and we loved his cocktail creations.
We can’t wait to go back!
Everything about this place is amazing! The service was great and on point. My vodka martini with feta cheese and cranberries was a very nice balance. Happy hour specials were on point and I mean just look at the inside of this place. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. 🥹
Made this reservation a month prior and was so excited to come eat here and be in those festive environment! That wasn’t the case though… made the reservation in advanced and we were seated in at a table in front of the door that was wide open blowing air at us.. needless to say we were pretty chilly during our meal.. :/ That was pretty upsetting honestly.. and it was pretty loud inside too with the people crowded around d the bar and servers running around trying to tend to everyone. It’s clear they were under staffed and over worked. We had a great server Ryan who was pretty on top of our orders and acknowledged when we were waiting longer than we should have. He was great and awesome to have at our table. We would have asked him to sit with us if he was off the clock that’s how great he was! And honestly he turned out night around given the fact that it was so cold where we were at.
My friend and I ordered Crispy Baby Romaine, a side of Truffle Fries, Beef Carpaccio and the 16oz New York Strip Steak. We got the Crispy Baby Romaine chopped because our server recommended it like that so we could share it and it was perfect well seasoned and refreshing! I would order the salad for pick up on my way home if I’m passing through! The truffle fries were amazing! My friend and I ate both clean eating but we indulged in those fries for the night and they were really rewarding! The Beef Carpaccio was so well seasoned with yuzu and fresh with the arugula salad on top! It was so delicious! And even though it’s a carpaccio, it was absolutely filling! and the 16oz New York Strip Steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well! The grilled artichoke with it was so crunch and seasoned amazing I ate them both before anything else! The drinks were well flavored and strong! Over all it was a good experience food wise! And honestly Ryan our service really helped bring the night together!
Wow, what an amazing experience. I hosted a graduation party in the semi-private space and it was flawless. To start, the event coordinator was professional, responsive, detailed, and helpful with answering all my questions. The event was executed beautifully – the tables were set up perfectly, food came out on time (and was delicious!), and we received the BEST service from Desiree. She always checked in that all the guests were happy and that cups were always full. Thank you to the Nolita Hall team for making my graduation unforgettable!!! Kudos to you.
