This place makes great burritos. I’ve had a lot of forgettable burritos in my life where items were under-seasoned, too overcooked, or spread out in the tortilla so you didn’t get a mixture of the different items in each bite. This place avoided all of those pitfalls and made one of the best vegetarian burritos I’ve had. My wife also really enjoyed her California burrito. We don’t live in San Diego but want to come back next time we’re in town.
I haven’t had a burrito this amazing in…well probably ever. The meat was perfect and tortilla was amazing! The sauces were the best on the burrito! I want to come here for every breakfast!
I love how they are a family owned restaurant too! The guy working that day I was there was funny and just super cool. I can’t wait to be back in OB just for Nico’s!
Best breakfast burritos in town for my money, hands down. Also, if you like hard shell tacos, give the beef ones a try with the red sauce! And don’t be afraid to drizzle their house made habanero on your burritos either. Great place, great food, JUST BRING CASH.
disappointed in the fish burrito. Flour tortilla, cabbage, pico and 2 tiny portions of fish. Counted over 6 consecutive bites of just tortilla , cabbage and pico, bland. Please get rid of the fish burrito all together or re invent it, maybe add rice and beans to it. It’s is the worst item on your menu.
their breakfast burrito is VERY MID! We came looking for a great breakfast burrito and theirs is nothing but average and lacking any flavor, depth, and consists mostly of potatoes, cheese, and tortilla. save your money and skip the breakfast burrito here
