Best bagels in North County! I grew up coming here and the bagels have always been top tier. Quality cream cheese and flavor options. Bagel sandwiches are delicious as well. I always make an effort to swing by when in town because I love it so much.
Best Lox bagel we ever had. Lots of choices and cream cheese flavors. Perfectly toasted. Other deli favorites like soups and sandwiches available. Wide variety of drinks and fresh OJ. Coffee was cold and sat for a bit. Other than that, it was great. Lots of parking and some outdoor seating. Clean bathrooms.
First time visiting, the New York salmon bagel and egg white bagel 🥯 were delicious. Friendly and great service.
First time here and we ordered veg lovers and the gourmet bagels. Bagels were good but expected a bit more cream cheese since the bagel was so thick, it didn’t balance.
The veg lovers was disappointing. This came with cheese, cream cheese and avocado. Hardly any avocado and we got NO cheese whatsoever. Not a bad sandwich but overall basic and not worth the price.
We went to New York Bagels & Cafe while visiting San Diego. The staff was very friendly (welcomed us immediately when we entered) and welcoming. They have everything you would expect from a bagel shop. They have a wide variety of bagels and by far and away the coolest was the rainbow bagel (you can see a little of it in the dozen bagels picture). This was the favorite bagel of my children. I ordered the jalapeno cheese bagel and it was very good. The jalapenos offered the perfect amount of heat and the cream cheese balanced it. Pricing is average for a bagel place. The service is quick. You can take breakfast with you or dine in. They have a lot of seating and the area is very clean. We would definitely return to this place if we’re in the area again.
