Mona Z. Mofid, MD, Dermatologist

I have the privilege and good fortune to have Dr Mona Z. Mofid as my dermatologist. Several years ago I began seeing Dr. Mofid with the hope of being able to manage my eczema. I had sleepless nights and my skin was very compromised. Dr. Mofid has a wonderful ability to translate her expert knowledge into words and analogies that I understand. She gives her advice, but has allowed me the opportunity to consider options before starting treatments. About a year ago, I started a new medication that Dr. Mona felt would really help me. Of course she was right because she stays current and connected to her fields of study. Since beginning this new treatment, I rarely have episodes of itchy skin that bothers me. I work outdoors as a Physical Education teacher and I have colleagues that have horrific skin cancer issues. I am so thankful to have Dr. Mofid monitoring my skin. Another wonderful aspect is that my wife and daughter have also enjoyed remarkable success stories with Dr. Mofid. On multiple occasions, one of us has had an appointment and another family member has had an extreme flare up. When we called the office to transfer our appointment to the other family member, Dr. Mofid saw both family members. She has never turned us away in a time of need and she never makes us feel like she only has a minute or two to examine, diagnose and rush out the door. I have been very fortunate in my life to have been seen and treated by leading physicians at the Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles during my professional dancing career. In my opinion, Dr. Mona Z. Mofid ranks in the same company and conversation. Her expert attention to detail, skill and training along with her heart and compassionate care place her in a league of her own. Thank you Dr. Mofid for treating and caring for me. My physical and emotional health wouldn’t be in such a good place without you.

I’ve been receiving treatment for several issues here and Juan Kojima has been great every single time. Not only is he very knowledgeable and experienced but he is a really nice, friendly person which made me feel much less stressed out about my issues. He’s very professional and courteous and I really appreciate that. Also Lexi at the front desk is very professional and kind as well. Great team! Thank you Juan Kojima! I highly recommend him.
