The atmosphere was very fantastic, and the soup was delicious. The sandwich with fresh bread and fish was also very satisfying. Mexican corn was good. However, the fried platter’s calamari was a bit too greasy, as it had absorbed a lot of oil. On the bright side, the fries were good!
Good food and friendly staff but we went on a Thursday night and it was incredibly busy more customers than seating. Lots of people hanging out and socializing which is great but with a restaurant that has limited space like this one it can be stressful when you get your food but don’t have a place to sit down and eat it. I wish there was more dining space or the little old ladies would get up and move when they were done eating 🙈
Great spot to catch some fresh seafood! They have patio dining and indoor as well. Service was pretty fast considering it was dinner time and busy. After you order they give you a number and you seat yourself. The crab cake sandwich was amazing. Everything tasted delicious. We’ll be coming back! 🦞🦀🍲
This spot is a gem. The prices are fair, the seafood is fresh, service is quick and friendly. Seating was limited upon arrival but a table cleared out quickly for my group. Parking is easy in the lot and only $2 an hour.
I had the seared tuna on salad and it was divine. The portion of protein was generous, veggies were crisp, and the dressing was tasty.
I also had a fried fish taco which was excellent and flavorful, perhaps lacking some spice. I also had a bit of grilled shrimp which was delicious. The crab avocado toast is amazing and downright addictive. The crab cake sandwich is incredible and the cakes are soft, not too oily or crispy. The fries were good and worth ordering if you have a big appetite. All portions were great values and I was super excited to try a little bit of everything. I have to return for ceviche!
There are a few restaurants at the harbor here and Mitch’s sign is hidden by scaffolding at the moment so make sure not to miss it.
There can be a bit of a wait if you’re coming at prime eating hours but it’s worth it!
The menu is extensive with catches of the day or sandwiches. There’s lots of appetizers and my favourite by far was the campechana which was chilled octopus, shrimp, and scallops, in a lovely clam sauce with tortillas for dipping.
I got a fish opah sandwich and it was good but some of it was dry. I still really enjoyed it and I wasn’t expecting a gourmet sandwich given the pace they’re pumping out orders.
Ideal if you can sit under the awning to avoid seagulls snatching your food.
