Please do not use this place its severely abusive! My family members and friends have multiple videos of severe abusive behavior both caused by the Dr’s nurse’s and alot by the cnas. I have multiple videos of my pain specialist lying , acting very incompetent and contradicting herself. Ignoring the hospitals assessments. Unskilled nursing is what everyone that has visited and tried to help me get through this miserable stay calls it. I here from multiple residents that before it used to be a great facility but really went down hill in the last yr. The torture that I endured while here I will need help for the rest of my life. I’ve found cnas asleep with people calling out for help crying for someone to help . Refusal of any pain control whatsoever. My poor roommate had been here for multiple years in her 90s you w would think just make her comfortable nope she’s in so much pain she doesn’t eat. Also the not changing her letting her sit in her own waste with bedsores. 4 hr wait to get changed and the cna came in and through the diaper at her and said happy birthday! Mind you the sweetest lady . I was left multiple times know body answers the call light no way to the bathroom thankfully I got ahold of a wheelchair being a fall risk they assessed none of that. Thankful I got a wheelchair and can bath and care for myself because the first 3 weeks I was here not once was a shower offered or bed bath to these poor people. It wasn’t until someone called aging and independent services that they kinda could do there job , good acting skills for when social worker’s came and they got a bunch of violations. Two days later back to abuse as usual. Please if you have family here or know someone that does get them out of here!🙏 😢
Overall positive experience. None of these places will ever be perfect but this has been the best location of all the skilled nursing facilities my dad has attended. Minor gripes. Yet the pros outweigh the cons. My dad came home strong.
Actually this place did me good. I was struck by a car head-on. I needed help in doing me and my right shoulder was crushed. Every staff member there will help you any way possible to make sure that you feel better and get better. So happy to leave but I miss the therapy people who pushed me, the nurses who pamper and listened.
I recently visited my grandfather who is currently here for therapy and oh how I’m very impressed with how the facility treats him. He was admitted more than a month ago and usually for that long ,he’d want to discharge, but no everytime my family and I would visit him he’d mention how attentive the nurses are with call lights how he enjoys the activities they offer and how happy the staff makes him. Thank you mission hills and especially the therapy department. Definitely would recommend this facility to loved ones
Mission hills post acute care has been a blessing for my family. The facility is aways clean and well taken care of. The care takers have been extremely understanding, professional, and supportive with my mother. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone considering a post acute care facility.
