Upon entry, lady almost seemed put out when I said I don’t want counter height seating, just a regular table. Next, The food is average at best, the white rice is no bueno. Lamb was tender but not a lot of flavor. The baklava was good except it was supposed to be pistachio not walnut and when I stated such she didn’t seem to care or make it right. Most people would offer a new baklava or no charge for it. The last issue was setting a customer to the table next to me two feet away when the restaurant was mostly empty. They could have sat him almost anywhere.
I won’t return here.
Such a gem in San Diego. We found out about this place via a google search and so happy that we decided to try it out. The service was very quick, caring and professional. Our table was attended by Tugba and she kept checking on us after each dish and she made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious reminding us authentic Turkish cuisine that we would get in Turkiye. The ambiance is modern and fresh. The kebabs were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The beef was soft and tasty. We tried the mixed plate, the serving was very generous. The mixed appetizer plate was also aesthetic and tasteful.
We finished our meal with freshly brewed authentic Turkish tea served in little tea cups.

We went here for lunch and we were not disappointed. From the delicious Turkish appetizers to the main kebobs(we tried shish and ground), we truly enjoyed the experience. Baklava and Turkish coffee was a sweet way to end the meal.
Touba, our server, was truly friendly and attentive. She made sure we got what we needed and that the food was cooked to our desire. Thank you.
Loved the food and ambience. We had the Mimoza mixed appetizers – which is perfect. The shish kebab and falafel wraps are beautiful (slightly small), but the quality was outstanding. This will be my regular dinner place in downtown SD!
Delicious food and great customer service.
My only complaint is that they ran out of babaganoush and baklava from having a busy night the day before so we couldn’t indulge in those dishes. But other than that, I highly recommend this place!
