La Doña is a very casual, comfy, and friendly restaurant with good service and a broad menu. They offer brunch on weekends as well as their typical menu.
The drinks are all very well crafted, and the food is flavorful. My one complaint is that the Mar y Tierra burrito was too wet inside, leading to a subpar texture. However, the other things we tried, from the margarita to the eggs Benedict, were delightful. I would return to eat here again.
Incredible fresh, flavorful Mexican food with many fun nonalcoholic drinks and cocktails to choose from. They also passed out ice pops to all those dining on a hot day. Would definitely recommend for a great Mexican spot in OB! Don’t miss out on the tacos
My favorite place for Mexican in OB. It’s quite big and able to accommodate even large parties, but can feel little lit overwhelming if you prefer smaller venues. Waitress was very nice though super busy. Enchiladas were great.
Best place ever! The family and I went to dinner here on a Saturday and were amazed. The restaurant was full, but the service was very fast. I ordered the Quesobirria tacos and the wife the Chicken Tinga tacos, both of which were delicious. And we ended the night with the best churros we’ve ever had in our lives. If you’re visiting SD, this is a must eat at Mexican restaurant.
Great flavors, one of the reallllly good mexican restaurants I have tried in San Diego. Its not too heavy, flavorful and delicious food. Casual and warm vibe. The mussels are in the best broth you can imagine.
