Insomnia is always a good choice for something sweet. They have many different cookies along with different ice cream flavors. We tried the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, and it was amazing! It was a limited time flavor, but they should really consider adding it to the regular menu!
The service and atmosphere were great! They gave us two extra cookies for free and samples of their ice cream while we were waiting. However, all they’re cookies were very chewy and lacking any strong flavor so I would give them a 3/5 stars. I will say their Oatmeal Raisin cookie was the best but their Canoli, Chocolate Chip, and Snickerdoodle cookies were pretty mid.
If I were really craving a warm cookie while in the area, I could see myself getting them again, however I wouldn’t go out of my way when I can make better cookies at home.

After @doordash left my order by a gate at the wrong address and the driver wouldn’t answer the phone, the amazing person (Nicole) @insomniacookies, remade the order and had the warm and delicious vegan cookies delivered…to the right address. Amazing cookies…awesome customer service!!!
Pass. Absolutely nothing special about these cookies. $50 for a basic undercooked cookies that weren’t warm. 🫠 Go with the other cookie company.
I drove from Oceanside to pick up Insomia cookies. I have came here three times in the past month; the customer service isn’t the best… which is why I have rated this location a 3-star. However, the cookies are good. I’ve had to wait for cookies to be made because they never have them on stock. The Cashier is typically in the back and doesn’t greet customers when walking into the empty location. This past experience, the employee was behind the counter but seemed to be too busy scraping cookies off trays to welcome not only myself, but several other customers who came in and eventually left without ordering possibly due to the confusion. Not sure if the workload is too much for one employee to run between baking, cleaning, and serving, but it’s really not that warm welcoming feeling.
