It didn’t live up to the hype. The sandwich had a good amount of meat in the middle and none at the end. 60% bread only. Asked for specific instructions on the sandwich got ignored it even said it on the receipt. Overall 3/5 stars.. I might give it another shot!
All I can say is wow. We bought sandwiches for a lunch meeting and everyone was pleasantly surprised. I got a Madison Bumgardener and it was a flavor explosion in my mouth. It was so filling I could only eat half of it.
I’ve eaten here a couple times ,customer service has always been good. My Go to is the Junior Seau sandwhich. I highly suggest you signing up with rewards program/ app cause you get nice little deals on there from time to time and also if you put your bday on your profile you are able to get a free sandwich. I would say that the app needs a upgrade cause you can’t view the images of the sandwiches & I was a bit confused with ordering I thought the order “as is” option automatically meant veggies would be included on my sandwich but I guess you have to actually add that when your placing your order. It’s a bit confusing but not rocket science. Love the quality , love the taste. I also love the Carmel apple lollipop you get when you order a sandwich. Parking is free and shared with the plaza. It can get crowded though (if you have to drive I would say try and pick up before rush times lunch/dinner.)
So far, we’ve had 5 different sandwiches here. We don’t have a favorite although the ones featuring fried chicken are outstanding. We do recommend the Dutch Crunch bread as the best choice. Excellent. Lots of vegetarian options. One reminder: if you order online, don’t forget to pick the time you want to pick up your sandwiches, otherwise you might arrive to find they are not ready and you have to wait. Otherwise, highly recommend.
This place has it all- delicious sandwiches, huge variety, friendly service, cute place. Then they top it off with veg and vegan options and hard to find glass-bottled drinks (like Cheerwine, a NC native) AND a free lollipop. This place is gold.
TIP- Order at least 30 mins early, sandwiches this good takes time at a place this popular.
