Friendly staff is patient while you decide. I recommend building your own bowl for roughly a dollar more (than the menus classic bowls) and heading over there an hour after opening for the freshest fish.
The store is well-lit and clean. There were plenty of sitting areas inside and out. Definitely a go to for a quick lunch bite!
We visited San Diego for a conference and ate here EVERY DAY for the entire trip. The food is so good, portions are great, and Shakila was so friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. I’m so disappointed that this place is so far from home!
Yummy poke bowls! Generous serving of meat and rice. Very flavourful with fresh toppings.
Fairly good poke, not the freshest in San Diego but a great grab n go spot. Very pricey especially if you want more proteins (>$25 per bowl).
There were signs all outside directing you to the general location of this place, however, once in the square there were no signs. Based on the GPS which was slightly inaccurate, it took a minute once in the square to find this place. The signage is bland and doesn’t catch the eye. Once inside it seemed like any other poke spot, although a little smaller inside. The price is slightly higher then the average poke I’ve been to, but this is likely the norm since this is California (I’m out of Texas). The employee was great and explained anything when I had questions. The food was average, nothing exciting or different. Overall decent.
