This is hands down the best poke I’ve had in all of California—definitely the best in San Diego! The fish was incredibly fresh and not overloaded with sauce like some other spots. They have so many options to choose from—we tried the shoyu ahi, furikake salmon, and garlic salmon, all of which were amazing. The poke nachos were next level! Great prices, awesome service, and incredible food. This is our new go-to poke spot. Highly recommend!
I went here for the first time. I wasn’t sure they would be open since it’s in a business park with no other restaurants.
I went there and it was packed. About 15 people in line and people eating outside. If you want to take it to go, order in advance via phone.
It looks like a clean restaurant. So I ordered the Poke plate with 3 choices. I think the poke was good but not great! The poke was not as good. There was way too much sauce mixed and ahi and salmon wasn’t as soft, a lot of chewy pieces. There is a poke restaurant, Nico’s in Honolulu I visit every time I am there and I was hoping for too much with this place since they are from Hawaii. But not as good but good.

This place is amazing! It’s probably the best poke I have had on the mainland. I tried 4 different kinds the taco and spam masubi. Everything tasted amazing, and I would definitely recommend it. Will be coming back more often. The only downside is the waiting time. Get there early.
We came here eager to try their poke. I had the shoyu ahi and Kailua salmon, I think it needed some salt, but otherwise, it tastes fresh. I think the other thing that killed this poke serving is not using a good quality of short grain white rice. I had a couple of spoons where rice still have that grainy core.
We liked the fish and chips. Calamari was ok. My toddler likes it. She also enjoyed some of the garlic shrimp. This came with a side salad and steamed rice topped with fried garlic.
I recently visited Hawaiian Fresh Seafood at Centerpark Labs for the first time, and it was an incredible experience!
The food here is absolutely top-notch, especially the poke, which brought back memories of the amazing dishes we had during our trip to North Beach, Hawaii. The flavors are so authentic and fresh, it’s like a little slice of Hawaii right here in the city.
We arrived around noon on a Saturday and did have to wait about ~ 20 minutes in line to get in and place our order, but it was well worth the wait. The line is a testament to how popular this spot is, and after tasting the food, I can see why.
If you’re craving authentic Hawaiian poke or fresh seafood, this is the place to go! Highly recommended!
