Harbor Pest is very responsive at every level. Privately owned, the staff from office to sales to field personnel are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Their sales rep, Charlie, was personable and provided important information for preparations. Office staff promptly responded to questions we needed answered. The field team led by Robert, were thorough in surveying and inspecting our property prior to fumigation. Happy with their work over the years and this year is no exception. Your technician was very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions. Of course, I was sent a coupon that I was supposed to present to him at time of call. That was impossible. Harbor was more expensive than the other two bids I got; I am still thinking about using your company for the tenting. I need to get in touch with the serviceman once again. I was impressed with him & the answers he gave.
Harbor Pest’s service was a complete nightmare. While I was out of town, I arranged for them to fumigate my home for cockroaches, leaving my keys under the mat and asking them to leave the keys inside before leaving. My door locks automatically, so when I returned from an international trip late at night, I discovered that I was locked out. The technician had locked my screen door, and I had no spare key. When I called for assistance, Carol, the answering service operator, was shockingly rude and unhelpful, bordering on cruel. Despite calling twice, I was met with hostility and outright refusal to contact the on-call technician. The following day, during business hours, I still received no assistance and was left to deal with the situation on my own. Even speaking to Esther, a supervisor, got me nowhere, as they blamed me for the situation, offered no help, and never issued an apology. Leaving a single woman stranded in the dark and cold with no access to her belongings, including dog food, is not just irresponsible but inhumane. This experience with a so-called family-run business was beyond appalling.
I had fleas in my house and I was being bitten even though I don’t have any pets! it was awful! I tried spraying my house myself and that didn’t work so I called the professionals at Harbor Pest Control. Kathy came out and sprayed my house, garage and yard for me and when I was still getting bites two weeks later, she came back and sprayed the same areas again and then she was able to locate the source of the fleas (which was wild animals in the narrow space between my garage and the wall next-door) and she sprayed there. If not for her, I would never have known where the infestation originated from.
Kathy is an incredibly kind and knowledgeable person. I am so grateful that she was able to help me solve my problem.
