This is truly the best go-to, any-day, come-as-you-are local bar. The drinks are fantastic, happy hour specials are great, and the food is memorably delicious. Their sauces are bomb, I haven’t had a single mediocre bite, and damn, those slushees slap.
We wanted to go to a cocktail bar in North Park and glad that we ended up here. It was a hot day and the slushee machine caught our eye. The bartender was kind enough to offer a sampler and we ended up ordering one of each. It was perfect for about day and it came in an adorable plastic cup with a straw. They also gave us ice water which was definitely needed. While they serve food, we didn’t try it drying bits. Lots of outdoor seating and they have two walls wide often so you can sit inside with but have the breeze going. So glad that we stopped in.
Went in for the happy hour. Had the roast beef sliders. They were shockingly small and both would equal to less than half a burger size. For $8 at happy hour, I would expect either cheaper prices or more quantity. Kale salad and fries were better but fries should be less salted. If u want somewhat quiet atmosphere do not go there. Seats are less than a foot apart to other tables and it’s super loud.
Visiting San Diego we stopped in for a drink at 7 on a Friday. It was lively with great energy, but we were still able to grab two seats at the bar. The staff was very friendly, helpful and made time to chat and offer recommendations. Service was quick, drinks were tasty and very affordable. We didn’t eat but food looked great. Will definitely be back when in the neighborhood!
The slushee drink was very good with Tajín id recommend! And the staff was so friendly. This place is perfect for when the weather is nice because they can open the garage style doors and it’ll be super fresh!
