The Grant Grill is undoubtedly a feast for the eyes. Nestled in the heart of the city, the restaurant exudes a timeless elegance that draws you in the moment you step through the door. We visited on a Friday night, and getting a reservation was refreshingly easy. The soft glow of ambient lighting, combined with the soothing melodies of live jazz—featuring a delicate mix of piano and saxophone—set the perfect backdrop for an evening of relaxation. However, the music leaned a little too heavily into “sleepy” territory, making it more of a lull than a lively accompaniment to dinner.

Despite the beautiful surroundings and impeccable service, the food, unfortunately, did not live up to the same high standard. My friends all opted for the steak special, but the excitement quickly fizzled when the knives struggled to make their way through the tough cut. While the flavor wasn’t unpleasant, it failed to stand out in a way you’d expect from a signature dish.

As for my meal, I went with the lobster gnocchi, hoping for something indulgent and flavorful. What arrived was a dish that felt more like a missed opportunity. While it wasn’t terrible by any means, it was far from the rich, decadent experience I had anticipated. The lobster was fresh, but the overall composition lacked the punch and depth needed to elevate it beyond just “okay.” The warm herb bread served in the beginning was probably my favorite part of the meal.

In the end, the Grant Grill nails its ambience but falls short in delivering a memorable dining experience. With a setting so ideal, the food has the potential to match, but as of now, it seems to be playing catch-up.

Absolutely incredible food, ambiance and service! We came for the Easter Brunch and they offer ordering of one main entree which all were incredible as well as going up for the buffet with delectable options such as crab, shrimp, charcuterie boards and a pancake/waffle station that was so good. Highly recommended! Definitely get reservations for Easter brunch if you get a chance! They also had live music which was lovely 😊

This place may not be Michellin Star Restaurant, I think this place can eventually receive one. First of all, the service and atmosphere are outstanding. It’s a very classic and luxurious interior, making this place a great place to dine for important events. I had several dishes, including ravioli and steak burger with soup and dessert, and they were absolutely wonderful! I strongly recommend this place to anyone.

Arrived early for our reservation, sitting at the bar for a pre-dinner drink. The bartender was friendly and provided our drinks with a smile. We both took notice of the beautiful decor, surroundings and atmosphere. The hostess took us to our table promptly at our reservation time.
We were somewhat surprised with the limited items that were available.
Overall, the food was tasty. The only complaint I had was with the waiter. Had to get his attention a couple of times regarding a couple of items by waving him to our table.
Have already recommended the restaurant to friends.
