Loved it. Found a very good Greek restaurant near the airport. The only reason I stopped was because the traffic light was out nearby and I was stuck.
Food was fabulous and the service was on point.
Okay this hidden gem brings you the luxury and tranquility of a great family owned restaurant that takes pride in their product, the customer. The appetizer was flaky great flavor that had some over the top sauce. My chicken salad left me speechless, fresh is an understatement, thought the tomatoes where just picked. The chicken was tender, greens were awesome, and the dressing was fresh and flavorful. I was shocked by the onions not a fan but I ate all of them. The server knew some of the customers by name, a win:)
Yummy Greek food. Quick, yummy, and filling food stop. We were pleasantly greeted as we walked in and told to take a seat.
Service: Our menus took a few minutes to come to the table, and when we were ordering our waitress wouldn’t give us a straight forward answer about the sizing of the fries when we asked twice. While refilling our drinks, our waitress touched our fries with her hand. She didn’t say anything, but it would have been nice to have to acknowledge it. We removed the fries that her hands touched and ate the fries that were left.
There is no reason you shouldn’t be eating here. The food is great, the people are great, the building is great. It’s the kind of place you hang out with your friends and talk for hours. If you’re indecisive about where to go for lunch and dinner, just go here.
Yikes. I feel so bad writing a bad review because the staff, including whom appeared to be the owners, was very nice. But, I seriously had to ask the waitress if the food was fresh; I have never had green beans from a restaurant that, on my 1st bite, tasted as if they came straight out of a can. The chicken kebob was also so dry. The beef filled dolmades were kind of disgusting bc the beef tasted sour….just odd. I wrapped it up bc I don’t want food to go to waste. I imagine I can throw it in my self-preparrd salad tomorrow in effort to mask some of the bad/non-existent and dry flavor. The waitress said it was cooked on the daily, but maybe that is subjective.
I *will* say it was very nice that the server offered to do a side dish of the beef dolmades as she saw I wanted that too, but I had already ordered an entree. The side accompanying my chicken was supposed to be potatoes, but it was rice. I informed her just to acknowledge it. No big deal, I ended up eating the rice which could have had more flavor. Anyways, it would have been nice if they had taken 2$ off for their error…on their own, without me saying anything. But, that’s okay. Nice people. But, also- I don’t like how the bathroom is in their kitchen . Lol I am sure other guests will still eat here, but I just can’t believe how subpar their food is espeically with being in a city like San Diego.
