She truly creates an environment where one feels safe to express any thoughts and emotions without judgment. Her relatable nature makes it easy to open up about even the most difficult topics, and her empathy allows one to feel truly understood.

She is excellent at helping one set clear, actionable goals, and she consistently provides the support and guidance needed for one to stay on track. Her ability to break down larger challenges into manageable steps is incredibly valuable!

Alyssa Theis was an incredible therapist. She walked with me through the worst season of my life–I connected with her at the end of a horrific pregnancy, traumatic birth, and the aftermath of a chronic illness. She also helped me through betrayal from friends, faith community, a family diagnosis of behavioral/learning challenges, being publicly “cancelled, and helping me work through issues with my faith and being a woman in leadership.

If you are struggling with similar experiences, have PTSD or trauma symptoms, post-postpartum depression and anxiety, or anxiety in general, I can’t recommend her enough. She helped me over two years to go from being nearly 100% nonfunctional to being able to live life again. I will be forever grateful!

I am glad they accepted my insurance at the time. The office did good updating me on appointments, delays, and the staff did an excellent job helping with extra billing requests. I found their portal usable as well.

I almost exclusively did virtual appointments, which worked great for me with a newborn and then napping toddler. However, their office was nice and convenient as well (although a bit on the warm side).

I have known her for the better part of my life and have seen her continuously grow into an ever more kind, generous, and compassionate person with particular expertise in guiding people through difficult life transitions. Not only is she a passionate, dedicated, and well educated therapist, but she is also unbelievably easy to talk to and never passes judgment. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
