I visited the rooftop for an event, it was a nice atmosphere but some of the cushions were wet. Servers were quite busy but good when you could get their attention.
Not enough pool space for the amount of people. (Prob like 300 ppl during weekend event) Some guy went in the pool with a bloody foot. Wear your sandals because fake grass will burn your feet. Dj ONLY plays edm. Food and drinks were more than expensive. Make sure to bring a hat for some shade. Wear sunscreen! Beware of drunk zombies, one of them ate our food.
Really like this place, especially since it is right next door to The Glasshouse! They have a very good selection of beer on tap and bottle with some being very high in alc 10%+. It did seem somewhat hipster inside I’m not a hipster fan at all since it seems to attract that crowd but I was able to put that behind me and enjoy the company of friends. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very nice.Only been here once but will definitely be back!
We went to go see a movie it was later around 1040. There was an older lady making coffee. I waited patiently for about 4 minutes for her to acknowledge me even though there was NODODY ELSE around other than my husband. Finally I said “excuse where can we buy tickets for the movie?” She didn’t even have the common courtesy to turn around and look at me! She simply said “over there at the register” which is funny because the one other worker said to go to her for the tickets meaning she was the one that was supposed to be at the register! Anyway we just left. The service was absolutely horrible which is crazy with their prices. The worst part is it was our anniversary and we would have gladly paid the price for at best mediocre service. Whoever that lady was, was rude and shouldn’t be in the service side she doesn’t even have the decency to even look at the customers.
We went to this party over the Memorial Day weekend, knowing that it would not be busy. It was their first party of the season and it wasn’t advertised until a few days before. Although there were clearly better choices, We still decided to spend the money here.
Shortly into the day, a friend fell off of a floatie while trying to take a pic. We all began laughing. A guy in a earpiece and a schmedium shirt came over and began scolding us, told us we’d had better take it down a notch if we wanted to stay, because other guests might come later on and they wouldn’t wanna hear us laughing. Despite his arrogant and condescending demeanor, I told him we were sorry and meant no disrespect.
He walks over to a group of friends and they all begin looking and laughing at us. How embarrassing. We are well into our 30’s, we aren’t children. He was so arrogant. Def regret giving this place over $1,000 for this party. There are def better places to enjoy a great time. Try hotel solomar.
