A nice steakhouse in downtown San Diego. We came here for my brother’s birthday. The service is really amazing and the atmosphere is pretty nice, too. The server was outgoing, knowledgeable, and a great conversationalist.
The food was pretty good. The cooks were slightly off on all the steaks ordered, though. Not a huge deal, but I expected exactness from a high-end steakhouse. The sides were all super tasty—loved the Fleming’s potatoes, burrata salad, and spinach. The espresso martini was pretty good too.
The main courses were good, but not incredible or necessarily giving off anything that would elevate them beyond a general steakhouse’s mains. For something pricey, I usually hope it will be great enough to remain memorable for quite some time.
In any case, great sides, pretty good steaks, nice chicken, and good cocktails. Very memorable service.
Had an amazing dinner experience, it was my first time at flemings but very recommended by friends, so I decided to give it a try. Food was delicious, I had the prime filet mignon with a lobster tail and a side of mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus (shareable size by the way) very delicious.
We visited to celebrate our anniversary, and we were truly delighted by the experience. The service, the food, and the attention to detail were all exceptional. I would warmly recommend Fleming’s to anyone in search of wonderful food and excellent service.

The calamari was some of the best I have ever had
Flemings potatoes were also a hit!
The bar makes great drinks, I recommend the whiskey sour
