Dr, Dodge did an emergency L4-5 laminectomy on my spine, on a Saturday, in 2004. The results and my experience with him personally were excellent. Twenty years later, after his retirement, I have been trying to reach the group for a new issue and the phone, system is abysmal. I have been trying for two days to get past the phone options or get a call back, with no luck so far.
Dr. Dodge is an amazingly caring doctor. I went through several doctors until I found him. He is so knowledgeable and skilled, and I feel like I hit the jackpot that he is also such a great listener and partner in my health care. He communicates with warmth and a sense of humor! I am so incredibly grateful for him!
I would just like to say that Dr. Dodge has been treating me for 23 years since suffering a bulging disc injury, and from day one til now he has provided me with the absolute best advice on how to manage this injury, including what to expect as well as how to proceed whether with surgery or not. By closely following his advice I have been able to live as normal as could be expected with such an injury. He’s 100% a patient advocate and will be honest and straightforward regarding every step of your treatment. For me Dr. Larry Dodge has been a blessing from God himself, and there is no way I could begin to show the gratitude I have for this man. Very grateful for the support and concern from Dr. Larry Dodge. He took the time to explain all x-rays, from my injuries in detail. I was injured at work and he helped with paperwork when I needed it.
Dr Dodge never looked at me as a $ sign, like others did. He was genuinely concerned for my well being. Very very hard to find a Doctor that is All about taking care of the patient, and not looking for the extra dollars. I can only hope and pray I can find another doctor like Dr Dodge. Thank you for being there to treat me for so many years. You will be missed by so many.
I have been a patient of Dr Dodge for almost 12 years. I had to have surgery in 2011. My lower back and neck both had to be fussed. I was in so much pain before the surgeries. Now my pain is manageable and I get to enjoy my grandchildren. I trust Dr Dodge with my life. He is a straightforward doctor which is refreshing. If he tells you you need surgery then you do because he is not one to cut on you if you don’t need it. I have had to wait for my appt for an hour sometimes two but that is because he doesn’t just rush you through. He makes sure all your questions are answered. I will truly miss seeing him and his office staff since he is finally going to cut back and enjoy his life.
