My mother receives an outstanding care from Dr. Darius Schneider, and his staff. From the moment we walk in, the team is warm and professional, making us feel at ease. Doctor Schneider is incredibly knowledgeable and explains my mother’s condition with clarity and compassion. We feel confident in the treatment every step of the way. Overall, the excellent care and attention to detail make this practice truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

The doctor is knowledgeable and takes time with each patient. The office wait times are long (45min-1.5 hours) so plan accordingly. But most frustrating, neither doctor or his staff is responsive post-appointment. They say they will get back to you in 24-48 hours but never do, even after several follow-ups. The doctor also does not reply to you when you reach out. To me, this is unacceptable and very unprofessional. I would seek other doctors (there are many great ones in San Diego) and not waste your time getting care here.

Dr. Darius Schneider is the absolute best in endocrinology and I am eternally grateful for him. For years, I have been dealing with multiple nodules in my throat, one of which began to protrude through the front of my neck and began causing multiple issues: swallowing problems as it was pushing against my esophagus, as well as against my vocal cords causing my voice to go raspy off and on, and overall stress out other organs. This nodule was increasing in size over time, which was leading to these symptoms.

Over the past 14 years, when the nodules were first identified during a physical exam with my primary, I have had to have make annual appointments for ultrasounds to have these nodules monitored. I did not realize that the culprit to my problems that I was having with my voice, swallowing, and my swollen lymph nodes was being caused by this enlarging nodule. I went to an ENT doctor that told me the only way to treat it was to cut out half of my thyroid gland which would result in me being on medication for life.

Thankfully, I worked at a medical malpractice law firm and told my managing partner/boss what that doctor had told me. He suggested that I get a second opinion as he did not believe that was my only option. He referred me to a doctor who told me he would help me find a specialist that could help me. This is when I got the referral for Dr. Schneider.

Dr. Schneider explained to me what was going on, where these nodules originated from, the procedure that he could do to completely eliminate the nodules without even touching my thyroid. He is extremely knowledgeable and his confidence led me to trust what he was telling me, so I agreed. I had the procedure in the spring of 2023 and am now nodule free for life.

Thank you, Dr. Schneider, for saving me from a life of meds, losing part of an organ, and getting rid of those pesty nodules so that I have my voice back and am eating normally again. I seriously cannot thank you enough and I tell everyone about you. You also have a kind staff and I appreciate them as well. They always pick up their phone, respond to emails, and are what you would hope a doctor’s office would be like when you need care.
