Excellent, very thorough, and explained everything. He is the first neurologist to treat my mom and try to make things better, not just give her meds and send her on her way. First time she has a follow up appointment. The very best doctor appointment ever and my mom is 84 years old.
Thank you
Dr.Song is my favorite specialist in my medical team. He listens well to me, never interrupting or rushing me. He takes time to make sure I understand what we have discussed. He always asks what I am thinking when we discuss adding a medication to my regime. And, he wants to know if I have any further questions or help.
We waited a long time to get an appointment with Dr. Song BUT believe me it was worth every second we waited. After just one appointment I feel such relief. I’ve talked to a lot of very knowledgeable doctors whom I greatly respect but Dr. Song is in a league of his own not only in his extensive understanding of the brain but in his special skills in helping a frightened patient to feel calm and hopeful again. HORRIBLE. Apparently they just want you to walk into the emergency room. Wasted half an hour before they said they wouldn’t take a patient without a work up, which of course I do not have, just a prior massive head injury and in a new city. HORRIBLE
We think he is a wonderful doctor. Definitely worth the drive. He is very caring and compassionate. He is monitoring my husbands DBS equipment. Made some adjustments so hopefully he will feel better soon. He also taught us a few things we did not know about the equipment and we looking forward to seeing him again in three months.
