The Everything bagel was missing some salt, but it had a lot of cream cheese. The Americano coffee even with a splash of cream was very bitter. The woman was attentive, the man was quick to help, and I was glad they opened early.
Food was delicious! We got a tuna sand-which and a pizza bagel and they were extremely fresh and came out quickly. The sand-which was flavorful and full of fresh ingredients and the pizza bagel which we got on the bialy bagel was light, fluffy and also very flavorful. We will definitely be coming back!

Pleasant staff, nice quiet atmosphere too! I’ve seen this place with people more times than not & decided to give it a try. Ordered a “works” bagel, egg/ sausage/cheese dine in. A decent bagel sandwich for the $7.27 price point after taxes. The only thing is until you bite near the center, so along the outside portion, it was a tad dry, lacking much flavor. Once you hit center, the bagel & ingredients worked enough to get some flavor across. It could use a light sauce spread to help with these points imho. The community around here likes the place & if you’re passing by would recommend too.
A lovely local mom-n-pop establishment not far from La Jolla Village Square and UCSD. They’ve been around for a long time. I had a friend who worked here for 2-3 years during high school.
Their breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches are super good. Fresh ingredients, great bagels, and nice flavor profiles. I love the sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel — it’s like a far better version of a McMuffin.
The staff is super friendly and easygoing. For a small shop they have a fairly extensive menu and you can find pretty good coffee here too. Definitely stop by and give it a try.
