Searched around to find a healthy spot to grab dinner. This was an interesting set up to order a meat and sides. My husband and I tried to keep it healthy. The sweet potatoes were delicious which was our fav. I got chicken which was cooked exceptionally well and had flavor. The mac and cheese wasn’t that great needed a little something for flavor. My husband got the steak which he enjoyed the amount given. The salad he got was tasty too! Overall a good spot to eat at and quick too! Services was amazing and everyone was helpful!!
I usually bring about the Lebanese hospitality. But our Iraqi brothers and sister showed me a different dimension of generosity.
I tried the ahi tuna on a salad Niçoise salad, a home made drink and a steak with some vegetables.
The salad was on spot with the dressing and the portion was beyond filling.
The steak didn’t need any sauce and the vegetables were grilled fresh.
Until now, this is the only healthy restaurant that deserves the name. Eating healthy, filling your belly, and enjoying a good food. What a triple whammy! A must visit with n Al cajon San Diego.

Great food and atmosphere. Even though the sandwich I chose is vegan, it was hearty and filling. Owner also stopped to chat, which was fun. Lots of good healthy food options, but also sweets available for those who want a treat.
Have been coming here for over a year now for lunch every time I am in El Cajon. The food is amazing, I go to is the steak sandwich. The customer service here is beyond. Everyone is always super welcoming and nice and service is always 10 out of 10. Long over due review 😅love this place!
The food is amazing and their drink selection is great too. I have yet to be disappointed. The Owner is always there and makes sure his staff are well taken care of and happy. It shows in the food they prepare. They keep everything so clean and inviting.
