Good sandwiches and kind owners! We got the chipotle chicken sandwich, chicken pesto sandwich, and the Chicken Caesar wrap. Out of all them the Caesar was the best. Great quality ingredients and tasty! Only complaint is that we wished the sandwiches and wraps were more saucy. There was a bit of a wait but it seemed that they made everything fresh to order. They also had a variety of chips available and a small dessert station. We will definitely come back and try other sandwiches!
This place is amazing! It’s very welcoming and has wonderful food. I got the low carb plate which hit the spot after the gym. Employees are nice and welcoming as well. They were even playing 1950’s music which made the experience even better.
Cloud 9 Deli is a fantastic addition to East Village, located right where the old bagel shop used to be, and they’ve taken things to a whole new level. Conveniently near Petco Park, their massive menu has everything you could want from an American deli—fresh sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and full blown meals. They have a friggen lobster roll. They have Dutch crunch bread! lol.
I stopped by late at night looking for something to munch, and got the Italian Cosca, the Mashed Potato and the potato salad. The potato salad is absolutely 🔥 and everyone has to try it. I made it a point to ask the owner if it was good and he did not disappoint! The food was fresh, flavorful, and ready fast. This will be my go to spot for pre-or post game munchies. Great food, friendly service, and endless options. Five stars!
I was fortunate to find this place and stop in for a sub. They weren’t quite open to the public yet but didn’t turn me away. Instead they offered to make me sub and be one of their first patrons. The Cloud 9 beef grinder is a great combination of quality ingredients and layers of flavor. The house roasted peppers, pickled onions, and peppercorn aioli really bring the punch to this sandwich. I can only imagine how much it will benefit from the Dutch crunch roll as they didn’t have that available yet. The two staff members I met today were very friendly and excited to be serving San Diego.
Finally, a real deli in East Village! Great menu! Lots of options and delicious food! Service was excellent as well! Awesome seating areas! Thank you!
