I had a birthday party with 34 friends and they did a phenomenal job taking care of us! Service was really quick which I didn’t expect for a party that big but they were efficient and well prepared! They even made the cutest custom menus for my event with my name which I didn’t even ask for. It was so special! Everyone loved the great quality food, and I will definitely be going back for future celebrations!
After dinner, we stayed to take photos because the venue was so trendy with great photo opportunities.
This. Place. Right. Here.
Everything about this place is legit. The inside makes you feel that you’re somewhere else. Great happy hour special with some inexpensive rolls and drinks. I would absolutely love to come back to this place the next time I’m in San Diego. 🫶🏻
Sushi good, drinks goood, service goood!! IFKYK-
The sushi is all above average, drinks are on point and the bartender is friendly and gave good recommendations.
Worth checking out if you’re visiting and likely a must if you live in the area.
I recently stopped by Cloak and Petal on a Thursday night around 10pm in the Little Italy area for drinks, and I was really impressed! Even though it’s a sushi restaurant, I was only there for a margarita, and it did not disappoint. The drink was delicious, and the wait time was minimal; I sat at the bar.
The atmosphere was the highlight for me. The restaurant wasn’t too busy, which was perfect for a laid-back evening. Most of the tables were empty, but the bar had a good crowd without feeling overcrowded. The music was at a comfortable volume, which made it easy to carry on a conversation without having to raise my voice—a big plus.
The decor inside is absolutely stunning. The cherry blossom tree in the center really sets the tone, giving the place a unique and inviting vibe. The artwork on the walls added to the charm, making it a place I’d definitely want to return to, maybe for a full dining experience if I was a sushi fan!
Overall, great drinks, beautiful ambiance, and a chill vibe. Highly recommend it for a casual night out!
Had a great time here. Was able to walk in and get a table on a Sunday night around 6. Great sushi spot lots of unique rolls and tasty appetizers. Garlic edamame was delicious. The atmosphere, vibe, and servers were all nice. The tree is a mood. The Anime on the screens and Japanese Godzilla art is great.
