Average tacos at a high price with very little filling. Disappointed that there was no lengua or tripa on the menu. Carnitas was mushy but I often prefer it to have slight crisp on the outside while remaining juicy. Scallop tastes like Campbell canned soup. We were very sad and left hungry.
Really great tacos came here about 4 years ago as a first time customer and loved every taco i ate then brought my mom who is very picky because she makes tacos homemade… she loved it!!!! The meat was tender definitely try the carnitas as well as the shrimp if they still have it really fresh ingredients as well and great horchata worth the try!!!!
I had the chance to visit this restaurant during my trip to San Diego. I was glad I picked this place! After browsing their menu, I ordered City Zucchini Taco and Guacamole & Chips. There were few people at the restaurant during my visit. So, the order reached my table in a couple of minutes. My order looked and tasted awesome! The corn tortilla had fried zucchini topped with assorted veggies. This is one of the best and most authentic tacos I’ve ever tasted. The guacamole tasted fresh and was the perfect appetizer with the tortilla chips. Their staff was friendly and courteous during my visit. There’s a ‘Live in the moment’ led-sign, which is ideal for a photo background. Their menu has vegetarian and vegan options, making this restaurant vegetarian-friendly. I enjoyed my meal so much that I even visited their restaurant on 7th Avenue when I was in the Downtown area. I wish I had restaurants like these back in my place. I’d love to dine here sometime in the future! Thanks to the team here for making my experience enjoyable. City Tacos will be one of my all-time favorite taco restaurants!
Great taco place in North Park. Tacos are delicious and the service is outstanding! Loved the August special – 7 seas tacos, it has lots of seafood and was a bit spicy 🔥 Carne asada taco is outstanding too. Goes really well with some Modelo Negra. Will be back to try other tacos on the menu!
Don’t even know where to begin with this place. Everything was fantastic! Tunes were awesome, had me dancing and singing in my seat. Service from the team was helpful and kind. Food was magnificent! I tried each of the traditional tacos and all of them are must tries! Guacamole was yummy! Green and red salsa was on point. Spicy creamy dipping sauce is a must try. Loved this place!
