I highly recommend this office! I drove over an hour to bring my autistic 2 year old because of a recommendation and other awesome reviews and I’m so glad I did. This was his first appointment due to my being scared of how it would go because he has a lot of sensory challenges and I’ve had SUCH a hard time trying to clean his teeth myself. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the dentist and assistants were all very patient and great with my son. They genuinely listened to my concerns, put me at ease, and worked quickly yet carefully. He got his little toy as a prize and toothbrush & toothpaste. so grateful to have found this office and thankful for how they made the experience a great one for my son.

It has taken me some time to sit down and write this review, but I feel it is necessary. Firstly, on our last visit to the office, the staff charged us a $60 copay, which was rather unusual as my insurance typically covers 100% of the dental bills we incur, nor did they disclose their intention to charge me this fee until we checked in for the appointment. Further, in our previous appointment, there was an alleged fee that my insurance was not going to cover, and when I discussed postponing the appointment due to financial limitations, they magically did not need to give this treatment to my child, despite several previous consultations/reviews of the upcoming work/treatments/cost mentioning the insurance not covering it, and an anticipated fee associated with the upcoming visit. The final straw was at our last appointment which involved what seemed in retrospect to be an unnecessary extraction of baby teeth- my son left the office with blood gushing from his mouth- it was flowing so heavily that it spilled all over the interior of my car. It felt as if we had been rushed out of the chair/door after a difficult appointment that made my son EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The staff/dentist seemed impatient and irritated with my son, which was particularly frustrating as I had expressed concern about this extraction appointment and inquired about doing it under sedation instead; upon my inquiry I was told that they would ask the dentist and his take was that we would, “give it a try, and see how it goes.” My son was upset and in tears for the majority of the appointment and now has a strong fear/distrust with dentists. The extraction seemed unnecessary as the teeth being pulled were baby teeth that were already loose, but the dentist validated this decision stating that the new teeth needed more room to come in. There seemed to be concern over crowding/crooked teeth, but the dentist later contradicted this treatment plan for the issue when he stated that my son would need orthodontic work later for overcrowding anyways due to the small size of his mouth. Frankly, the last visit we had was a traumatizing experience for both my son and myself- but the staff made sure to schedule another appointment before we left. As I had time to reflect and settle from the negative experience, we decided to find another dentist moving forward. When I called to cancel our appointment approximately 1 week beforehand, I was told that I was going to face a $100+ charge for the missed appointment. Infuriated, I “laughed,” and explained that we would not be returning, nor would we be paying this fee, especially considering the unnecessary $60 fee we had been charged in our last visit. Don’t be fooled by these fake reviews and do yourself and your children a favor in seeking treatment elsewhere.
