Birria was good, if a bit dry. The portions are very generous, fitting the price. We got three dishes with birria and an order of chilaquiles! Their churros are also good, but needed some more sugar imo.
Some of the best birrieria tacos I’ve had. Very chill place. A good serving size and excellent flavors. Don’t sleep on the rice and beans, they are outstanding.
First time trying a Birria, was good. Tried the tacos too and it was well prepared and tasty. Their chips was also freshly prepared.
No need to drive to Mexico or anywhere else in San Diego when you can get authentic Birrieria here. These birria tacos are both tender and succulent thanks to the slow-cooked consume that they serve you. I ordered the lamb and beef and the lamb should be your 1st try. It’s tasty! Also their Al Pastor mini tacos where needed to finish up on the awesome broth. Worth the drive here any day!
I eat Birria pretty regularly, this was the worst I’ve ever had. It is not authentic Birria. We got two quesabirria tacos, none of the tacos contained any quesa. The consume is super bland and so is the Birria. The corn tortillas taste like flour. It doesn’t appear that they fried the taco around the Birria like they traditionally do. Do not recommend.
