I got quesabirria from here. After we ordered, they called our number not even 2 minutes later, how did the chef cook it in 2 minutes..? I feel like he was in a rush or our food was old.
We took one bite and almost threw up. There was a huge chuck of cheese that was melted that tasted so disgusting. We tried to take the cheese out, but the quesabirria was not appetizing at all. The birria did not taste fresh. I don’t know why they put so much cheese it does not taste or look good. On top of that the onions, radish don’t taste right it taste like chemicals. Please look at the photos I post of my sandwich
There isn’t enough good things to say. I discovered this place a few years ago through a friend and I’m forever grateful. The food is CONSISTENTLY amazing. The owners, Theresa and Cesar, are some of the most generous people I’ve ever met. They make it a point to always give back to their communities as well. I’ve truly never had a bad experience here with their quality of food and much less their customer service. My son is the pickiest eater and asks to come here at least once a week. I bring all my friends here and they always end up coming back.
The owner’s son was friendly and personable. It’s not a fancy place but the quality of the food is excellent. My husband could only eat half of his shredded beef burrito because it was so large! I had a local fish Taco and a shrimp Taco and both were tasty and a good portion of food. We will definitely return on our next trip to Coronado.
Hands down, the worst food I’ve had in a long time. The meal looked like it had been sitting around for weeks, and there’s no way anyone could convince me it was fresh. I travel across the country, hunting down new food spots, but this place? It’s easily at the bottom of the barrel. You couldn’t pay me to eat here again.
Let’s talk about the quesabirria. Absolutely disgusting. I don’t know if they’ve even seen a decent piece of meat in there. The whole thing was an insult to the dish, and I wouldn’t be shocked if this place packed up and shut its doors tomorrow. Honestly, it couldn’t close fast enough.
I read Melena’s review, she has no clue. The review she left shows she was never there, and if she was she has poor taste. OR at the very least is confusing this place with another one that is not very good, I may even go so far to say that hers is a false review, put here purposefully to distract from the EXCELLENT food this truck provides, the service has always been good and the people friendly and helpful, they strive to provide the best food and customer service.
