I was having a hard time finding a locksmith that could duplicate my car key but none were available or could do it because of the specific model and make of my car. I found Bar Plaza Keys and without ANY trouble they fixed my problem. I arrived without an appointment and was leaving with my brand new key within 5 minutes! Their prices were better than their competitors and their work was efficient and fast. I will be coming here for any Key matters from now on.
Very friendly service. I called because my battery went dead and I could not unlock vehicle. Steve was there within in minutes to unlock door, gave me a jump, and made new physical key since the one in key fob was not working. Highly recommend Bay Plaza Keys it was affordable and very friendly service.
Its only been about 5 plus years since I’ve been utilizing Bay Plaza Key shop for both residential and commercial basic key needs. I know they do it all…99% all. I say 99% because I needed a specific BMW car key replacement. It was either too pricey or it was something they did not keep in stock. Whatever the case, I continue to come back even if it means driving 8 miles from my home.
I have had nothing but good experience at Bay Plaza Keys. This shop has been efficient, quick service, usually stocked, and offer affordable keys. If your key doesn’t work/fit, they will gladly “fix” and make it better. They stand behind their work.
You can’t miss this kiosk as it sits on its on own at the Bay Plaza Shopping center, off Plaza Blvd, 805 freeway.
They are open 9a-5p and not 24/7.

Terrible service. Called ahead, was told to come in “get it done right away”. Arrived and was the only customer. Ended up waiting 30 min and the guy hadn’t done anything for my issue. He kept skipping me to do “easy jobs” like making duplicate keys. I understand my issue of replacing a lost key for a lock takes more time and effort, but that’s why I called ahead. This shop should be honest and just say no. After I asked about my issue and when it would looked into, the employee just started “sorry bro, it’s really busy and yours is hard. Maybe come back another day”
