In town with my coworkers for a system upgrade. Stopped in based on a review from Yelp. Portions are nice, you’re not wanting more or a bit extra. Their spice level is a bit more than most since they use fresh peppers. I had the drunken noodles with tofu. Very tasty with vegetables. Basil and onions are very fresh along with the peppers and onions. Noodles are not dry, very moist. My coworkers got the pork with green curry while the other guy, the fried rice with tofu. Medium spice on their dishes or
both say the food is fresh and tasty. The atmosphere outside consists of folks from the nearby University. My drunken Doodle dish from Bahn Thai. Food was ordered to go. Limited seating, out in the front.
We always have a meal here when in San Diego & we order enough to take home for dinner as well. So good! Friends staff. Cute outside patio has a couple tables with good people watching. Often gets busy with waits for tables.
Bahn Thai is such a great place! Very lowkey! We just randomly ran into it and got drunken noodles, very spicy and delicious!!!!!! The service was soooo good! The ladies in charge were so nice!
This San Diego restaurant impressed us with its Garlic Stir Fry with Chicken, Thai Fried Rice with Tofu, and Papaya Salad. The dishes were hot and delicious, but the limited dining space was a drawback. The value for money was great, and we highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you’re a fan of Asian cuisine.
Pad Thai is very sweet, I personally don’t enjoy it. Fried rice and spring rolls are pretty good. Only out door seatings and there are so many flies that will stop you from enjoying the food.
