I received a promotional tune up discount via text from the company . They were able to quickly come out and perform the tune up. I was working so I did not see exactly what was included in the package . I texted the technician after he was done asking for the status of the garage door and whether he has any recommendations, he did not answer. 4 weeks later one of the doors cable came loose from one side causing two wheels from the opposite side to fall off. I do not believe what the technician did caused the issue but certainly did not prevent it. If adequate tune up was done that include tightening of all cables and ensuring even tension on both sides, I am sure this issue would have been prevented .
** update . ADS sent a technician to fix my door and examine the root cause. He explained that the springs are likely wearing out hence the door feeling heavy and went ahead and changed the springs .
I finally got tired of the noise when I raised/lowered my garage door. It was a no brainer to call ADS. They serviced my system when I sold my last home. I expected good service and that’s what I got. Jorge was friendly and professional right from the start. I expected the updates I needed, and he was quick make those changes. Two things:
When I asked about updating the complete system in the future Jorge had the tools to give me an estimate on the spot. And the ADS techs who texted me sent me his picture and bio to let me know who to expect. HUGE for security reasons, and I appreciate the thought that goes into that system.
I can’t recommend them, and especially Jorge, enough.
James provided great service, explaining details on the mechanism needing repair that helped us understand options. Excellent communication, very professional job, left everything clean and in optimal working condition. ADS service is top notch.
I’ve used ADS over the past several years to service my very old garage door. I was so very, very happy that on this visit, James, the technician was able to get the light working in the opener’s motor. And this was not the reason for the visit! Everything else was serviced and I just happened to mention that the light had been out for many years and changing the bulb didn’t fix it ! He got it to work!! Kudos to James! I’m a very happy customer.
Jorge’s service was great! He came to do maintenance on our old garage door that was making strange noises. He inspected the door on arrival and gave us recommendations on replacing some parts that were worn down. After he completed the service, the garage door was working like new.
