I have been a patient of Dr Bahmanpour for 5 years now, and he has been the best doctor ever.
He meets with you in the office and virtually, and he prescribes you with the best medications. I even once had to have an emergency text to text communication with him. When he talks to you, he asks you all sorts of questions about your health situation. He is well informed of all of the health issues facing people. He also refers you to the best specialists, from hearing to heart.
I know that the office staff has to deal with a large number of patients and so they can get a little annoyed with my questions. Even so, they are extremely patient with me.
In addition, when I’m in the hospital, he monitors my healthcare. I think that has happened a couple of times, he has even sent me to the hospital himself.
I have had to get him to write me several prior authorization requests over the years for different reasons, even making requests from the insurance companies.
I have to hand it to the office manager, NEGAR; she handles everything so efficiently!!!

Refused to send me to a specialist for my disease and said he would be able to treat my care although it is difficult to get my refills for my medication. I felt controlled and without options with this provider, never took my blood work but one time although I need to do it multiple times a year to adjust meds if possible. Rude staff and would not refer.
I only saw him once before moving away from San Diego, but found Dr. Bahmanpour’s care to be outstanding. He even caught a couple of things that my doctor of nine years hadn’t! I’m so impressed with his care that I’d even consider moving back just to see him!
