I had a great experience here! Dr. Lauron and both staff members who helped me were all great. They got me in right on time for my appointment. I was nervous getting my eyes checked for the first time in 5 years and they made it very comfortable and took the time to answer all of my questions. The environment was also warm and very clean, which is important for me at doctor’s offices. I’ll definitely be coming back! Editing to add that they made product/glasses recommendations but didn’t push anything on me, which I also really appreciate 🙏🏼
High tech and personal at the same time. I switched from another optometrist and couldn’t be happier. Easy time scheduling my new appointment for an eye exam and excellent service picking out glasses. Highly recommend!
The staff is great here! They’re always very warm and welcoming and it’s nice to see the same faces when I come in. Dr. Nastasoiu is very personable and sweet! She’s great at what she does and has helped me tremendously with my dry eye situation post Lasik surgery. Definitely give this place a try if you’re looking for an optometrist!
If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I got an eye exam this past November (2024). Long story short, I STILL haven’t received my eyeglasses that I paid out of pocket for.
I got an eye exam and a contact lens exam in case I wanted to order some contacts later on for special occasions. I’m a flight attendant and don’t wear contact lenses on the aircraft bc of the dry air conditions and my eyes being more sensitive. Heights Optometry ended up billing my insurance as I was going to order contact lenses only. That was the first blunder.
When I went back in to order the frames I wanted (I special ordered them bc they said they no longer had the style in stock), they had already put the claim through to my insurance, so I didn’t haven’t any eye glass/frame benefits to use. I understand mistakes happen, so I went ahead and ordered them. My mistake.
I paid out of pocket since they had a deal going on and I just wanted to get my glasses at this point. Since this point, I have spoken with several representatives and they each give me a different excuse as to why it’s taken so long to get my frames in. I even called last week, and asked to speak with a manager, and I got a call from someone at a completely different optometry place in La Mesa. I have called back multiple times (today included, no one is answering the phone) and have yet to hear back or receive my glasses. At this point I would like a refund so that I can get my eye glasses elsewhere.
Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
I can’t explain how disappointed I am with this place.
It started with trying to make my husband an appt. I went into their establishment and no one was there. Ended up that it was after hours and they forgot to lock up.. so I walked to both surrounding businesses and asked them to contact them to let them know.
Husband has his appt. Paid. Next day he gets a phone call.. they messed up and asked him to pay an additional $30… very strange and also.. get your crap together? Maybe bite the $30 sine it was on you?
Well they told us we’d get a $300 refund on his contacts. So instead of buying them through Costco who was cheaper.. we did it. They told us they’d file the refund for us. They never did. When I called back to check on it.. I was told it was now too late. Told twice someone would call me. Never got a phone call. My husband also owns a business in Adams. But I can tell you this, we won’t ever return to this place.
